The snow has blown onto the light that shows the road that you'll drive down. The light's beginning to fade so I've decided I'll stay by the window facing town. And I love that it's Christmas eve tonight and all that brings to mind. The mistletoe hangs where we'll soon say hello in the warmth with the cheer and the falling snow. Another year has gone by in the blink of an eye many stories still to share. Gather close to the fire warm your toes we'll conspire and raise a glass to the past in the holiday style. The moments here that we hold dear connect the ties that bind. And there's no where else we'd rather be than at home for Christmas time. And I love that it's Christmas eve tonight and all that brings to mind. There's songs we can sing about sleigh-bells that ring so Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, goodnight.
